Inspired by the IPAs that got us into beer, this beer is bold and hoppy, taking a step back to a time when IPAs were heavy on bitterness as well as aroma hops. This is a single malt, single hop brew that showcases the biscuit flavours of Maris Otter, as well as the different levels obtained from Cascade (UK) when used in the bittering, whirlpool, and dry-hopping stages. Cascade (UK) gives a slightly more subtle, well-rounded flavour compared to its US cousin, while still delivering an intense kick of orange, grapefruit, and lychee.
